Japanese Curry!

No pics. Was too busy eating. A basic homemade japanese curry. Red bell peppers, onions in a savory brown curry sauce with garam masala and chicken. Delicious.

  • Murghi Vindaloo (chicken simmered in yogurt/vinegar sauce)
  • Puli Kozshi (chicken with roasted chilies, tamarind and coconut milk)
  • Tari Waali Murghi (chicken in a spicy tomato sauce)
  • Thenga Pall Kozhi (chicken with red chilies and coconut milk)
  • Badam Murghi (yogurt-almost chicken in a spinach sauce)
  • Palak Gosht (lamb stew in spinach sauce)
  • Chana dal Murghi (chicken in a spicy coriander sauce)

Nariyal Palak Gosh (Fall-Apart Beef Cubes with Spinach and Coconut)

This Friday brings us a savory beef curry dish. The house smelled wonderful while this simmered and simmered. This week I remembered to take pictures! The finale of this dish was adding the spinach and coconut before serving. Changing the texture and flavor slightly at the last minute to create a wonderful delight for the senses.
